Philodendron Moonlight is one of my newest collection. It is a hybrid type of this kind. Like any other philodendron, moonlight is easy to care indoor plants. It is said that this plant is a slow grower but in my opinion, it really depends of the plant how they adopt to their new environment.
Philodendron Moonlight has light-green leaves or foliage, the new leaf is a like bright yellow-green. When I saw the plant, honestly I thought is a banana but of course I’m wrong, hahaha.
According to the plants geniuses, Moonlight will blooms, I saw in the picture the flower is white. However, I, myself did not see any flowers yet. I have to wait a little longer to see it blooms. Hopefully, soon!!! I’m excited to see the flowers.
WATER – allow the soil to dry out between watering. when leaves are droopy it means the plant is too wet or not enough water. Make sure you know your watering schedule.
POTTING MIX – the plant do best in loose, well-drained soil.
SUNLIGHT – Moonlight likes bright but indirect sunlight.
FERTILIZER – it is recommended to fertilize the plant monthly like any other plants in spring and summer.
Important Note: Although the plant is beautiful it doesn’t mean that it is friendly to all. This plant is toxic to cats and dogs.
