Lemongrass or Tanglad as Filipinos term is a herbal medicinal plant that has a lemony smell. The leaves of this plant are the most widely used when boiling chicken, beef, or pork as tinola when I was in the Philippines. Most Asian country I think used Lemongrass as also a common ingredient for their cooking.
This plant has a lot of medicinal benefits, it serves as a remedy for fever, headache, and diarrhea. This helps also to reduce stress.
